Buyer information and enquiry paths

A buyer planning a commercial kitchen has a job to do. They need to find suitable equipment, assess the supplier and start a useful conversation. This project focused on making Shiva Kitchen Equipments’ website support that process.

The business behind the brief

Shiva Kitchen Equipments Pvt. Ltd. manufactures commercial and industrial kitchen equipment for hotels, restaurants and institutional buyers. Its website had to explain a technical product range to people making considered purchasing decisions.

The starting problems were connected: heavy pages, inconsistent metadata, weak page hierarchy and limited information around buying needs. Fixing one title tag would not address the whole journey.

Where the work focused

1. Remove barriers before expanding content

KaliNova AI reviewed crawlability, broken internal links, duplicated metadata, heading structure, image weight and Core Web Vitals risks. The purpose was to establish which problems could obstruct discovery or make the site harder to use, then prioritise the work by business impact.

Performance work covered next-generation image formats, lazy loading, asset and code reduction, caching and delivery improvements. These changes addressed the website’s technical foundation.

2. Give each buying need a useful destination

Commercial search themes were mapped to relevant product, category and service pages. Themes included commercial kitchen equipment, industrial kitchen setup and stainless-steel equipment supply.

The decision mattered because a broad product range can leave several pages competing to answer the same question. Page mapping gave the content and internal links a clearer purpose.

3. Make product pages help the buyer

Titles, descriptions, headings, image alternatives, product explanations and calls to action were improved. The aim was practical: help a visitor understand what was offered and where to go next.

For a manufacturer, visibility has commercial value when it brings the right person to information that helps them evaluate a purchase.

4. Look beyond a ranking position

Search Console and website data were used to review visibility, clicks and page-performance trends. Rankings helped identify gaps; enquiry relevance remained the business question.

What this case demonstrates

  • Connected implementation: technical SEO, page performance and product content were treated as parts of the same buying journey.
  • Commercial prioritisation: the work centred on equipment-related search needs and useful product destinations.
  • A measurement focus: search activity was considered alongside the path to enquiry.

What a manufacturer can take from it

If your website attracts visitors but makes product selection difficult, start by examining the pages buyers actually need. Check whether they load reliably, answer commercial questions and make the next step clear. That gives technical and content work a shared purpose.
